Inspired by a challenge tweeted in 2014 to UK PR students by CIPR President, Stephen Waddington, (Ketchum Europe’s Digital Director), the SSU PR students work each year to produce an e book in a day.
We enjoyed the process in 2014 so much that we decided to do it again in 2015. And the 2015 CIPR President, Sarah Pinch (Pinchpoint Communications) joined up to make it happen again. You can find the 2014 book below- the 2015 version will be coming soon- once we can beat ibook into shape.
The 2014 title was P2P PR, which explores how to put the public back into Public Relations. We took our own stakeholders and reached out to engage them in the process of writing a book. This is agile learning by a new generation of PR professionals who are confident about using the full range of new technological innovations to connect and empower the dialogue of organisations and their stakeholders.
Planned over one month, constructed in a single day, these e books are published by Solent Press.
The 2014 title is available in five different versions for download.
