Wednesday January 8th 2014
11.00 am – Guest Lecture by Jane Hunt, Catapult PR MD and Best Freelance PR Practitioner in Britain 2012. She is also the author of ‘The Befana Drama’ and ‘Rogue Elephants – One PR Girl’s Fight Through the Human Jungle’
12.30 am – Guest Lecture and Challenge by Jim Cregan, the founder of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee. He set up his Dorset-based company with his sister only three years ago after developing a taste for iced coffee whilst travelling in Tasmania and finding nothing to match up to it once back home in the UK.
Thursday January 9th 2014
2.00pm – 6.00pm – Futurerising. The not-for-profit organization that is committed to helping you get into the industry. The event will include an eclectic mix of speakers from creative, planning, accounts and strategy through to tech and start-ups. You’ll hear talks from top industry speakers about their experiences of getting into the industry, get to work on a brief and even get to attend a networking event afterwards! An opportunity not to be missed.
Friday January 10th 2014
11.00am – Guest Lecture by Marc Ortmans who has a huge insight into the industry with experience in being a Designer, Creative Director, Film Director, Managing Director, Project Director, Strategist and Entrepreneur. He will be talking on TV Branding and life after you leave university.
2.00pm – Meet the Advertising Alumni and speak to some of our most successful graduates. You’ll hear them talk about getting their careers off the ground followed by a chance to network over tea and cake.
